No description found

Friendswood – Two substances known as marijuana wax and marijuana butter were found during a traffic arrest in Friendswood.

Damon Joshua Fraser, 28, was pulled over Friday night on E. Edgewood after driving 50 mph in a 40 mph zone. He did not have insurance and only had an occupational driver's license on him. Fraser told the officer that his license was suspended and did not know if the occupational license was valid. It was not, so the officer took him into custody.

During the arrest, the arresting officer smelled air freshener and marijuana. While searching Fraser's car, the officer found two unknown substances wrapped up in white wax paper. The substance smelled like marijuana, but it was brown. The substance that looked like glass was marijuana "wax" and the pasty substance was marijuana "butter," according to investigators.

Both substances field-tested positive for THC as did two small glass vials that contained THC residue. Both were seized, along with a small black electronic device used to smoke the THC substances, which was found under a floor mat.

Fraser's bond is set at $26,000.
