HOUSTON – Police are investigating the death of a woman found stabbed inside her Greenspoint apartment Wednesday.
Her body was discovered inside an apartment in the 15000 block of Northborough by a maintenance man doing routine exterminator work.
"It appears she possibly died from stab wounds," said Officer Ted Colbert. "The last time anyone saw this female alive was Wednesday morning between 6 and 7 a.m."
According to family members the victim is 28-year-old Ebony Harris, a mother of two boys ages 4 and 11. Family told Channel 2 News her sons are staying with other relatives.
"She would cook all the time and call me and say, 'Come over and eat,'" said Roshanda Mingo, the victim's cousin. "She will be missed, I loved her very much."
The search is on for her killer. Police said there was no forced entry in the apartment but foul play is suspected.
