Surveillance video released of suspect wanted in fatal shooting at McDonald's

HOUSTON – Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at a McDonald's restaurant in southeast Houston.

The victims, Jvoi Dorismond, 23, and Kennith Thomas, 27, were taken by private vehicle to a Pearland hospital where Mr. Dorismond was pronounced dead.  Mr. Thomas suffered a non-life threatening wound.

Police said Jvoi Dorismond, 23, and Kennith Thomas, 27, were in the McDonald's restaurant drive-through lane in the 9100 block of Cullen around 5:15 a.m. when an unknown man approached their vehicle.

The suspect fired multiple shots, striking both victims, and fled the scene on foot.  Thomas was able to drive to a Pearland hospital for treatment.  Dorismond, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Surveillance video captures video of the suspect.  He is seen in the video walking with a possible limp and wearing distinctive tennis shoes.
