HOUSTON – A disturbing letter was sent home with some students on Thursday that no parent ever wants to read.
David Hughes, principal of Langham Creek High School in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, wrote to families: "I wanted to make you aware of an investigation on our campus involving a threatening statement posted on a restroom wall."
Hughes does not state the nature of the threat, nor does he say when the threat was found at the campus. He does say campus administrators are working with district police and local law enforcement to determine the source of the threat.
He goes on to reassure parents, saying, "We have increased security measures at the campus, including additional officers, and will continue as long as necessary."?
