Sentence upheld for woman convicted of killing boyfriend with stiletto heel

HOUSTON – Ana Trujillo, the woman who killed her boyfriend with a stiletto-heeled shoe, has lost an appeal.

Trujillo stabbed University of Houston professor Stefan Anderson with the stiletto heel at least 25 times in June 2013. She was convicted in the fatal stabbing in April 2014.

The jury gave Trujillo life in prison.

KPRC 2 learned that a state court denied her appeal Monday, ruling that she did receive adequate representation and the jury instructions at sentencing were proper.
