HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A timeline of the events that led up to the discovery of the bodies of eight people inside a northwest Harris County home over the weekend has been released by the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
KPRC 2 News first brought you a timeline of the events from sources earlier this week.
On Aug. 8, deputies performed multiple welfare checks at the residence at 2211 Falling Oaks Road. After a standoff and the surrender of the alleged shooter, David Conley, deputies found the bodies of six children and two adults inside.
Deputies said they first tried to make contact with residents after receiving 911 calls from family members out of the state who had received concerning messages on Facebook and by text from Conley's ex, Valerie Jackson.
After at least two attempts to contact residents inside the home resulted in no response, deputies saw a dead body inside the home through a window on the third attempt.
Deputies forced their way inside the home around 10:30 p.m. due to the exigent circumstances, but were met with gunfire.
A hostage team negotiated with Conley and he surrendered shortly before midnight.
For much of the time, Conley terrorized the victims, and many of them were bound by handcuffs, one source said.
Valerie Jackson, 40, Dwayne Jackson, and six children -- Nathaniel Conley, 13; Honesty, 11; Dwayne Jr., 10; Caleb, 9; Trinity, 7; and Jonah, 6 -- were all found dead inside.

- 16:31:06 – Call created following request to Harris County 9-1-1 for a welfare check.
- 16:43:37 – Deputies arrive on scene at 2211 Falling Oaks Road.
- 16:48:49 – 9-1-1 is contacted by additional rep for welfare check, advised Deputies are on scene.
- 16:52:00 – Deputies report 2 vehicles on scene, no response from inside the home, home secured.
- 16:54:13 – Deputies clear scene.
- 17:36:20 – Call created following request to Harris County 9-1-1 for a welfare check.
- 18:10:52 – Deputies arrive on scene at 2211 Falling Oaks Road.
- 18:14:50 – Deputies advise there is no response from inside the home, home secured.
- 19:51:21 – Call created following request to Harris County 9-1-1 for a welfare check.
- 20:55:35 – Deputies arrive on scene at 2211 Falling Oaks Road.
- 22:26:53 – Deputies advise one person down observed inside the house.
- 22:28:35 – Shots fired by suspect as deputies force entry.23:58:00 – Suspect in custody.
A memorial service for all eight victims will be held at noon Monday, Aug. 17, at Fallbrook Church 12512 Walters Road, Houston, TX 77014.
