HOUSTON – A man died Monday after a shooting at an apartment complex in northeast Houston.
The shooting was reported at 8:50 p.m. at Rollingwood Apartment Homes in the 600 block of Maxey Road.

According to Houston police, Dwight Swearington, 26, was parked in the parking lot and was shot several times after he got out of his vehicle.
Swearington was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he died.
Police said there is no motive and an unknown number of suspects fled the scene.
