LEAGUE CITY, Texas – Students were sent home Tuesday from Clear Spring High School in League City due to a power outage, school officials said.
The school's power went out shortly after the start of the school day Tuesday.

The high school will be open Wednesday.
Crews will work on repairs through Tuesday evening, according to the Clear Creek Independent School District.
CCISD officials said a volleyball game scheduled for Tuesday night has been cancelled.
The district released the following statement:
"Clear Creek is very proud of the way students responded to the situation and thankful for the support of our parents. We will be powered to learn tomorrow."
