Parents at Lanier Middle School are calling for a school board member to be held accountable for what they say was a public attack on their children.
At a school board meeting, Houston School Board member Jolanda Jones publically accused Lanier Middle School students of "bullying" each other over changing the name of the school.

Jones claimed she recieved e-mails detailing the bullying, but parents say there was no e-mail trace and they are now demanding an apology.
Not only are the parents demanding an apology, they are also fighting to keep the school named after the southern author Sidney Lanier who lived in the 1800s.
