HOUSTON – Your kids don't want to hear it, but they'll soon be heading back to the classroom.
That means the Texas annual sales tax holiday will be here before you know it.
Shoppers will be able to save money on certain items priced under $100 during the tax-free holiday weekend.
It's set for Aug. 5-7.
The state law exempts most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks.
Experts say shoppers will save nearly $92 million in state and local sales taxes.
