HOUSTON – It's a problem Channel 2 Investigates first brought to the surface, and now we're getting word that several local agencies will be working together to pull dozens more cars from our bayous.
A pilot program for the project has already raised many cars from the depths of Brays Bayou.

Now, the city of Houston, Harris County and the Harris County Flood Control District are preparing a plan to pull out dozens more cars.
The timeline is a question mark, but both the city and county have pledged $100,000 each for the project.
