SOUTH HOUSTON, Texas – ROTC students at South Houston High School didn't miss a beat during practice today, despite recent changes to their program.
One of the instructors quit his job after allegations of inappropriate behavior.
One student said the instructor hasn't been seen on campus all week. Rumors are circulating, but no one knows for sure what happened.
"There's no way it could be true. He's a father figure to us and I didn't think he would do something like that," another student said. "They didn't mention anything about the relations...they just said he's resigned."
Here is the Pasadena Independent School District statement:
"The safety of our students is always our top priority. A South Houston High School teacher recently resigned amidst allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a student. Pasadena ISD Police are still investigating, no charges have been filed."
