HOUSTON – A man lost control of his car and crashed it through a fence into a backyard where children were playing, deputies said.
Harris County sheriff’s deputies said they got reports of a car that went out of control and ran through a fence near Ella Boulevard and Mosher Lane around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
The driver of the car said another vehicle hit the side of his car, while he was traveling down Ella Boulevard, which pushed his car through the fence.
The driver also said he saw three children in the backyard as he crashed through the fence.
Police said there were 4 children in the yard at the time of the crash.
A 4-year-old boy was hit by the car and only suffered minor injuries, police said.
