HOUSTON – A man died after he was shot multiple times Thursday in northeast Houston.
Police are trying to piece together three different scenes after Patrick Aldape, 17, was found shot several times and his car was found crashed into a ditch.
Police said officers were flagged down by residents around 11:35 p.m. in the 500 block of Slumberwood Drive after they said they heard gunfire.
Police said Aldape suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle and then flown to Clear Lake Regional Medical Center where he later died.
Officers found a shotgun in the bushes outside the hospital and they were determining if it was related to the shooting.

Investigators found Aldape's vehicle in a ditch on Federal Road near Maxey. No one was in the car, police said.
Police are investigating what led to the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
