HOUSTON – A man was shot at least 10 times Friday outside a bar north of downtown Houston.
The shooting was reported around 1:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of Elysian Street.

The man was found lying on the ground outside the La Playita bar.
Houston police said the victim and another man were in the La Playita bar parking lot when the gunman shot him several times and left.
Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said there was no struggle or argument. It is unclear what led to the shooting.
It is unknown if he was at the bar before he was shot.
Police described the gunman as an older Hispanic man.
The shooting is under investigation.
