HOUSTON – Police are searching for three men in connection with a deadly home invasion in northwest Houston.

Investigators said the suspects broke into a home in the 11600 block of Alpine Vale Court around 2:50 a.m. on July 14, 2016, and shot 35-year-old Javier Alonso to death.

Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing a red Pontiac Grand Am leave the scene.

The suspects are described as black men wearing black masks, all between the ages of 17 and 25.

Deputies said the first suspect was wearing all white and is about 5 feet 7 inches tall. The second suspect was wearing all black and is also about 5 feet 7 inches tall. The third suspect was wearing all red and appeared to be about 6 feet tall, investigators said.

Anyone with information about the crime or the suspects is asked to call the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
