Fire damages area of Chinese Consulate in Montrose

HOUSTON – Houston firefighters battled a 2-alarm fire at the Chinese Consulate in Montrose. 

Firefighters were called to 3417 Montrose Boulevard at 1 p.m. Sunday. 

It is unknown how the fire started and if there was anyone inside the building.
