BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – A woman visiting from Texas was injured Sunday after two airboats collided in the Florida Everglades, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles said.
The victim was on the airboat with her husband, her teenage son and the boat's captain when the crash took place near mile marker 35 and Interstate 75, Jachles said.

A man was the sole person on board the second airboat.
The victim and her husband were both ejected from the airboat, but she was the only one injured, Jachles said.
Jachles said the victim suffered a non-life-threatening leg injury and was flown to Broward Health Medical Center.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the cause of the crash.
