Man with tattooed face, accused of robbing pharmacy, appears in court

HARRIS COUNTY – A man accused of robbing a Walgreen’s pharmacy with a knife appeared in court Friday.

Christopher Scott Breaker, 25, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Prosecutors said Breaker robbed the Walgreen’s pharmacy in the 15100 block of Mason Road on Aug. 4.

During the robbery, prosecutors said Breaker tried to make a purchase at first but his card was declined. They said he then pulled out a large kitchen knife and jumped across the counter. He then grabbed a fire extinguisher and tried to open a door, and when that didn’t work, he started to grab items, prosecutors said.

“He grabbed a bag of donuts and several protein shakes, and then left the business,” a prosecutor said in court.

According to Harris County deputies, Breaker fled the scene in an older model pickup truck. It turns out the pickup truck was registered to Breaker, who was reported as a missing person, deputies said.

Deputies tracked Breaker down and he was arrested on Wednesday.

Breaker is being held in the Harris County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
