LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Laredo recently seized $3.2 million in crystal methamphetamine.
The drugs were seized in two incidents at the Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge, officials said.

The first seizure happened Saturday, when a canine and inspection by CBP officers of a 2009 GMC Sierra revealed 32 packages containing 122 pounds of methamphetamine, officials said.
A 29-year-old man from Irving was arrested.
The second incident happened Monday, when a when a canine and inspection by CBP officers of a 2005 Nissan Altima revealed two packages containing 36 pounds of methamphetamine, officials said.
A 40-year-old Mexican national from Nuevo Laredo was arrested.
