A motorcyclist was killed in a crash that caused all southbound lanes of the North Freeway to be closed Sunday morning, police said.
According to police, the crash happened around 7:50 a.m. on the southbound side of the North Freeway at North Shepherd.

A man on a motorcycle failed to maintain his speed and struck the back of a red Chevrolet Trailblazer, according to police.
The man was ejected from the motorcycle and struck a retaining wall, police said.
The motorcycle continued to roll until it came to a stop and caught fire.
The Trailblazer spun into a retaining wall.
