A woman is fighting for her life after her husband allegedly shot her in the head Sunday morning, Harris County deputies said.
It happened at a home at the intersection of Possums Run and Wintergreen Drives around 1 a.m.

Investigators said the husband claimed he and his wife were struggling over the gun when it went off.
The woman was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. Officials said she may not survive.
The husband was taken to the Harris County Sheriff's Office to be interviewed, officials said.
It’s unknown if he will be charged.
