HOUSTON – George Springer has another big event ahead of him: his wedding.  The World Series MVP is set to exchange vows with his longtime love, Charlise Castro, next month. And just like any other couple, it appears they have a gift registry.

We can’t be sure it’s really them, but there is a registry set up at Pottery Barn under their names. And the wedding date on the registry is the same as the reported date for their nuptials: January 20.

Before you pull out your credit card and try to snag them a gift, there are only two gifts listed; and both have been claimed. One entry was a white duvet cover in a full/queen size. The other was a glass wine decanter.

If this was really Springer’s registry, he wouldn’t have been the first World Series winner to have one. Cubs player Kris Bryant and his wife registered at Crate & Barrel. When fans got wind of it, they went online and purchased gifts for the couple. After the wedding, Bryant and his wife sent thank you cards to all those fans.
