SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio family who first made headlines in 2014 when they competed in "The Great Christmas Light Fight" is making a splash with their Star Wars themed holiday light show -- complete with EDM music.

Matt Johnson posted video of the three-minute light show to YouTube on Saturday and it has already garnered more than 4,000 views.

Electro Darth Vader kicks off the show saying "You don't know the power of the dark side," then the bass drops and the house and a nearby Christmas tree illuminate.

San Antonians can catch the light show at Dignowity Park nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Johnson said he chose the Star Wars theme ahead of the premiere of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" which hits San Antonio theaters on Dec. 14.

In 2015, Johnson put together a light show at his home which soon grew in popularity, drawing far too many people, prompting him to prematurely shut it down.

To address that problem, he said he decided to do the show on a friend's house, citing optimal traffic flow, no homeowner's association and a central location.

Johnson's company Living Light Shows has orchestrated light shows from Southern California to Orlando, Florida.

Living Light Shows assisted in the creation of the San Antonio Zoo's light show and is the group behind the synchronized 30-foot tree at the San Antonio River Walk located at the Lock and Dam on Brooklyn Street on the Museum Reach.

Johnson's light show consists of 15,000 lights -- but said it's not about the number of lights, rather, what the lights do.
