HOUSTON – A container fell off a tractor-trailer Friday after it hit an overpass on Interstate 10 Katy Freeway.
The crash was reported at 10:14 a.m. at the Houston Avenue bridge in The Heights neighborhood.

Texas Department of Transportation officials said this is the same bridge that crews were scheduled to work on this weekend.
Several eastbound lanes of the freeway were closed at the scene.
No injuries were immediately reported.
