HOUSTON – A man killed his fiancee’s sister Thursday and then led police to her body in a southwest Houston motel room Friday, police said.
Houston police said James Farmer, 34, called them about 7 p.m. Friday and told police that he had killed a woman Thursday afternoon at the Americas Inn at 8201 Southwest Freeway.
Farmer led detectives to the room he had rented the day before, where the body of Angela Montante, 23, was found, police said.
During a hearing Monday morning, prosecutors said Farmer choked Montante while they were having sex.
“He then sat by the bed as she continued to, as he described it, ‘freak out,’ for approximately three to five minutes before her body went limp and she was unresponsive,” prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said Farmer rented the room for a second night in cash before he called police.
Farmer was charged with manslaughter and was ordered held in jail without bond.
The judge said Farmer was out on bond in connection with two other felony charges at the time of his latest arrest.
