HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Harris County authorities responded to reports of a suspicious box with a blinking light in a Harris County park Monday night.
Authorities said the box was reported at a park near the intersection of Royal Village Drive and Royal Blue Drive.

Harris County bomb squad investigators determined that the box was not a threat.
Surrounding homes were evacuated, according to authorities.
