Crews remove semi-trailer that dangled from 610 onto US 59 in NE Houston

HOUSTON – Emergency crews removed a semi-trailer that was hanging off of 610 onto U.S. 59 Saturday afternoon, Houston police said.

The crash was reported at the U.S. 59 southbound ramp to North Loop East and blocked 610 westbound traffic for hours, police said. All traffic was cleared around 3 p.m., Harris County deputies said.

A column was damaged in the crash, though no further details were available from police.
