A talented group of dancers from Houston Christian High School will have the opportunity to perform in the legendary Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Members of the Houston Christian Silver Spurs Drill Teams traveled to New York City to perform in Herald Square during the parade on Thursday.
Dance Director, Melissa Tyler, told KPRC that there is a lot of preparation that goes into the rehearsals but that the team is ready for this once in a lifetime opportunity.
“I adore this group. They have worked so hard for this and poured their hearts and souls and learning this choreography for these two weeks, and I am thrilled they get this opportunity,” said Tyler.
