HOUSTON – Two men robbed an armored truck parked outside a southwest Houston bank on Thursday, investigators said.
Houston police said the robbery happened as the guards were refilling the ATM at the front of the Bank of America on Kirby at Bissonnet about 2:25 p.m.
Both robbers were armed and masked, police said.
The men escaped in a pickup truck, which was found abandoned at a neighboring apartment complex, officials said. The truck had been reported stolen, police said.
Police have not said how much cash the robbers took.
Descriptions of the robbers have not been released.
No injuries have been reported.
