HOUSTON – Rockets guard Chris Paul was at practice Tuesday morning at Toyota Center.
Paul was suspended by the NBA for two games for his role during a fight in Saturday’s game versus the Lakers. Lakers forward Brandon Ingram was suspended for four games and guard Rajon Rondo received a three-game suspension.
“It’s tough. Someone spit on you. You play this long and it's never happened, but it is what it is,” Paul said. “I try to pride myself trying to stay as poised as possible. I got put in a situation where I got suspended. You try to prevent that at all costs.”
Paul sat out the first game of the suspension Sunday versus the Clippers. He will miss Wednesday night’s game against the Jazz. Paul is eligible to return for the Rockets’ game against the Clippers Friday.
