BAYTOWN, Texas – A contractor working at an ExxonMobil construction project site at the Olefins Plant in Baytown was killed in an incident Thursday afternoon, according to ExxonMobil's media relations.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office said the incident happened at 2:41 p.m.

ExxonMobil said emergency crews were called out to help the man.
In a statement the company said in part,: "We are greatly saddened by this and express our deepest sympathy to his family and his co-workers. The name of the individual will not be released until his family has been notified."
ExxonMobil said the contractor was employed by Group, a subcontract company working at the construction site.
