HOUSTON – The Harris County Sheriff's Office will introduce the newest deputies in the department's K-9 force during a news conference Wednesday morning.
The new mobile odor detection dogs are trained to detect illicit and dangerous substances from a distance.

A grant from K9s4COPS, a nonprofit organization, funded the cost of the additional deputy dogs.
