HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A Harris County woman is suing Facebook, claiming the company played a role in luring her into sex trafficking.
The woman, who is going by "Jane Doe," is also suing Backpage.

Backpage is an online advertising site that was shut down by the FBI over allegations it promoted prostitution.
She's also suing an America's Inn Motel in southwest Houston, where she claims the sexual encounters took place.
In the lawsuit, the woman claims a friend of a Facebook friend reached out to her when she was 16 and offered to help launch her modeling career.
She accuses the friend of forcing her into sex trafficking.
The woman is suing Facebook for more than $10,000.
