Over 90 historic buildings, landmarks across U.S., Canada to be illuminated

HOUSTON – Houston City Hall will be among the more than 90 historic buildings and landmarks to be illuminated in the colors of Stand Up To Cancer.

The buildings across the U.S. and Canada will be illuminated during the week leading up to the fifth biennial Stand Up To Cancer "roadblock" telecast airing in both countries at 7 p.m. Sept. 9, organizers said. The buildings will be lit in a combination of Stand Up To Cancer's signature colors -- red, orange, yellow or white.
