HOUSTON – Six more women have filed lawsuits Monday against Texans’ quarterback Deshaun Watson, accusing him of assault and inflicting emotional distress.
All of the cases list “Jane Doe” as the plaintiff. According to court documents, Watson booked an appointment with one of the women through her manager. He used Instagram to book the other appointments, according to court documents.
This brings the total number of similar lawsuits filed against Watson to 13.
Here’s what we know about each of the new lawsuits.
No. 1
In the first lawsuit, a Houston woman, who said she offers bodywork and stretch-therapy services, accused Watson of sexual assault, civil assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress during two encounters between June and August of last year. According to court documents, Watson is accused of inappropriately touching the woman and trying to force her to perform oral sex on him.

In the second lawsuit, a Georgia woman, who said she is a licensed massage therapist, accused Watson of civil assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress during an encounter in the Atlanta area that happened this month. According to court documents, Watson is accused of harassing, inappropriately touching and exposing himself to the woman.

In the third lawsuit, a Houston woman, who said she is a licensed massage therapist, accused Watson of civil assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress during an encounter in January. According to court documents, Watson is accused of exposing himself to the woman, inappropriately touching her and making sexually suggestive comments.

In the fourth lawsuit, a Houston woman, who said she offers various wellness therapy services, accused Watson of civil assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress during an encounter in August of last year. According to court documents, Watson is accused of harassing the woman and exposing himself to her.
In this suit, attorneys use much stronger language to describe Watson.
“Watson is in the sex trade,” attorneys wrote. “He needs to be stopped.”

In the sixth lawsuit, a Houston woman, who said she is a licensed esthetician, accused Watson of civil assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress during an encounter in April of last year. The case against Deshaun Watson is a case that has caught the attention around the world.
“When somebody so famous is being pointed at, it is a challenge and you have to look at it from all perspectives. What are the motivations? What are not?” said criminal defense attorney Angela Weltin, who used to be a prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
Weltin is not representing Deshaun Watson.
“Volume does count. It counts in our minds,” she said as she spoke about the number of lawsuits that have been filed against Watson. “I think the big question here, I suspect, will be the question of consent when it gets down to it and what does it mean to coerce someone into something.”
Welton believes when cases like this begin in civil court, it could hurt a potential criminal case.
“I don’t want to say tainting the investigation, but really adding things in that wouldn’t have been there had it gone criminal first,” Weltin said.
Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing all of the women who have filed suit, said he would send affidavits from the women to the Houston Police Department on Monday.
A spokesperson with HPD said they would not comment as to whether they are opening an investigation into Watson.
Attorney Rusty Hardin, who is representing Deshaun Watson, said the allegations are meritless.
