SANTA FE, Texas – An EF-0 tornado caused damages in the Santa Fe area Monday night as severe thunderstorms moved through Southeast Texas, according to the National Weather Service Houston.
The twister briefly touched down at 11:50 p.m. with wind speeds of 85 mph along West Half Moon Road, northwest of Santa Fe High School, officials said.
The tornado caused damage to residential buildings and downed trees that were caught in its path.
No injuries were reported.
