HOUSTON – Houston police are trying to track down a bold thief they said ran off with a piece of jewelry worth more than 33,000 from a store in the Memorial area.
According to police, on Jan. 9, an unknown suspect entered a business located in the 300 block of Memorial City Way shortly before 2 p.m.

The suspect approached store employees and requested to view several pieces of jewelry.
The suspect was allowed to see a piece of jewelry valued at $33,200. Once he had his hands on it, he bolted.
The suspect ran out of the store and hopped into a white two-door Chrysler Sebring, license plate unknown.
The suspect is described as a medium build male with brown eyes, 6 feet 2 inches in height, approximately 24 to 30 years of age and weighing between 170 and 200 lbs.
