HOUSTON – Houston police are on the lookout for a man who they said robbed several drug stores throughout the Houston area.
On Feb. 10, surveillance video captured the suspect who appeared to be holding a cane walking inside a Walgreens located in the 300 block of Edgebrook Drive in southeast Houston.

At some point during his visit, the man wrapped his cane with a blue blanket and held it sideways, video shows.

As the suspect was seen walking up to the counter, he attempted to reach the cash register until clerks began to intervene. Police said he later pulled out a knife and pointed at the store clerk while demanding money.
The man got away with an undisclosed amount of money in a white Hyundai SUV and took off. He was last seen wearing a black hat, gray jacket, black shorts, red shirt, and black shoes.
Police said he is measured at 6 feet tall and weighs between 230 and 260 pounds.
Police said the man was also involved in the following robberies:
Feb. 24 at 9:30 p.m.: Walgreens located in the 10900 block of Fuqua Street in southeast Houston
Feb. 24 at 9:40 p.m.: Walgreens located in the 300 block of Edgebrook Drive in southeast Houston
March 10 at 7:30 a.m.: Walgreens or CVS located in the 9400 block of Hammerly Boulevard in Spring Branch
