A suspect was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after being shot by an officer in southwest Houston, according to police.
The incident happened in the 10600 block of Beechnut near Maplecrest Wednesday afternoon.
Exact details surrounding of the officer-involved shooting were not immediately released, but police said no officers were injured.
