HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating after they said a vehicle stolen by homicide suspects was found following a traffic stop in north Houston Tuesday.
Officers with the Houston Police Department were patrolling near E. Little York and Airline Drive around 2 a.m. when they found a gold Chevy SUV in the area.

Police said they ran the plate and discovered that it was stolen by two homicide suspects in Montgomery County Monday. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, which investigators said had three people inside.
According to Sgt. Fisher with HPD, one passenger attempted to destroy narcotics while officers were trying to take him into custody. The suspect was tased by officers, Fisher said. Police said the driver and other passenger were taken into custody without further incident.
Fisher said the suspects are being charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, at minimum. The passenger with the narcotics will be charged with possession of narcotics as well.
According to Fisher, it is still unclear if any of the three suspects were involved in the homicide.
