A man who led deputies on a short chase is now in custody after authorities found out he was wanted for two counts super aggravated sexual assault of a child.
According to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, the arrest took place in the 8000 block of Craighill Place on Wednesday.

Deputies say 33-year-old Gabin Tchapock led them on a brief chase before being arrested.
During the incident, authorities discovered Tchapock had two open Felony Warrants for Super Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
Further investigation revealed that he has sexual assault pending cases in other counties, officials say.
The man was taken into custody at the scene.
Super Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child is when the alleged victim is under the age of six, or if the accused is convicted of a violent sexual assault against someone under the age of 14. This enhanced crime carries enhanced penalties and has far-reaching consequences.
