How to join the conversation during ‘The AJ Armstrong Interview’ Thursday at 6:30 p.m. on KPRC 2+

Antonio Armstrong Jr. (KPRC 2)

HOUSTON – Antonio Armstrong Jr. is talking about his capital murder conviction for the first time, in an exclusive interview with KPRC 2 reporter Rilwan Balogun and KPRC 2 Investigates producer Jason Nguyen that will stream in its entirety on KPRC 2+ Thursday night.

Armstrong was convicted in August of shooting and killing his parents in their southwest Houston home in 2016, when he was just 16 years old. He’s now serving a life sentence inside the Robertson Unit, a maximum-security prison in Abilene, Texas.

‘The A.J. Armstrong Interview’ will be a different experience for our audience. For the first time, not only will you hear live commentary from Balogun and Nguyen -- but you’ll be also able to ask questions about Armstrong’s interview and share your reactions to his answers in real time.

During the livestream on KPRC 2+ Thursday at 6:30 p.m., Balogun and Nguyen will watch their 58-minute interview with Armstrong live, stopping during key moments to explain what was going on behind the scenes as he spoke from behind a glass partition. They’ll also answer your questions during the conversation.
