HOUSTON – A man has been taken to a hospital after he was shot in the abdomen in the Greenspoint area Saturday evening.
It happened around 8:45 p.m. in the 800 block of W. Greens Road.

Houston Police said a group of men were walking through an apartment complex at the location when an unknown suspect began firing gunshots at the group.
One man was hit in the abdomen. The injured man knocked on a nearby door for help.
Police rendered aid to the victim, who was transported to a hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.
