HOUSTON – A woman was killed and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Monday in north Harris County, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.
The six-vehicle crash was reported in the 3050 block of FM 2920 Road near Covington Bridge Drive.

Deputies said the crash was not weather-related.
It was learned that an 18-wheeler was in the westbound lanes and tried to avoid an accident. The heavy truck jumped into the median into oncoming traffic lanes and hit the woman’s vehicle head-on.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.
The number of people injured has not been disclosed at this time.
