HOUSTON – A man has been arrested and charged after three people were killed and two were injured during a shooting at a rental house in northwest Harris County last weekend.
Jaylon Mcintyre, 25, has since been charged with capital murder. He is accused of shooting 24-year-old Michael Odobo, 24-year-old Nicholas King, 25-year-old and Ellesha Rice to death.

On Sunday, Jan. 21, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 4600 block of Russet Leaf Trace.
According to Sherriff Ed Gonzalez, multiple people were gathered at the short-term rental home when a shooting erupted, striking several people.
Two men and a woman were pronounced dead shortly after the shooting, and two others were injured and hospitalized.
Mcintyre has been in jail on an aggravated assault charge since Jan. 24.
Prosecutors have filed a motion for him to be held without bond. His next court date is Friday, at 9 a.m.
