Two drivers flee the scene after running over elderly Houston-area woman

The 75-year-old woman died at the scene and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office needs your help catching the drivers

Two cars ran over a 75-year-old woman Wednesday evening and fled the scene without aiding her assistance.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the auto-pedestrian accident that left the pedestrian identified as Me Thi Le dead.

The incident occurred in the 6400 block of Howell Sugarland Road and Le was crossing the northbound lanes east to west.

Le was struck by one vehicle and run over by a second vehicle. Both drivers fled the scene.

One vehicle is being described as a white Ford with unknown plates. The second vehicle is a new black model Cadillac Escalade. The Escalade driver was driving northbound and drove over Le after the first vehicle hit her.

Le was confirmed dead at the scene.
