Surveillance video shows the men in two different vehicles: a silver Dodge Charger and a silver Mercedes Benz.

The men drove up at a gas station in southeast Houston Monday night. As two men were walking out of the gas station convenience store on South Wayside Drive and getting into a black SUV, the gunmen all got out of their cars and opened fire.

All three suspects fired multiple shots before taking off, police say.

One 34-year-old man died and the 29-year-old with him was rushed to Ben Taub with life-threatening injuries. Police haven’t released their identities.

Police are asking anyone with information to get in touch with HPD’s Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
