In an ironic glimpse into how prevalent shoplifting has become, a separate would-be shoplifter was apprehended at the Deerbrook Macy’s as Humble PD reported the initial bust.
This time, a woman concealed more than $170 worth of merchandise in a shopping bag lined with tin foil, which she believed would obstruct the anti-theft detection devices in the store.
Unfortunately, her brilliant plan ended up just like the interior of her bag: foiled.
