The shooting occurred at Selinsky Road and Martin Luther King Blvd. and was reported to the Houston Police Department around 7:30 p.m. It’s unclear how or why everything went down, but authorities said they arrived to find a man dead at the scene and a 16-year-old with serious injuries consistent with being pistol-whipped.
The teen was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
The officers at the scene received reports that a white Nissan was seen leaving the area. While helping the victims, investigators received a call about the same vehicle in question being parked nearby.
When they investigated, they found an additional man with at least one gunshot wound. He was also taken to the hospital in critical condition.
